Print Battle - April 21st at Craig y Don
The Doors will be open at 12pm until 4pm.
We have some fab Raffle prizes on offer. Cambrian Photography in Colwyn Bay have donated a
£50 voucher.
Foto speed some A3 Paper, along with A3 and A4 paper from Perma jet
We have some Binoculars and a tripod donated by Jason Wharam as a representative of
Vanguard. And our usual wine and chocolates.
There is a £3 charge on the door this includes 1 raffle ticket and refreshments.
Extra Raffle tickets will be available for £1 a strip.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Craig y don community centre in Llandudno,
a great afternoon event to socialise, and enjoy looking at some great images.
Our Judge is Mike McNamee who did a super job last time.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible
PAGB APMs held at Nottingham

PDI Challenge
Congratulations to Mold for winning our very own PDI Challenge on Sat 4th, with a score of 152pts, with Conwy coming second with 140pts.
Thank you to all the 12 clubs who took part.
Richard Hainsworth was awarded the best image of the day by the judge of the day, the Excllent Christine Widdall, for not only giving a superb talk and showing the variety of her work, but in pre-judging and then judging all the images on the day.

HonNWPA
Congratulations to Janet Davies of Mold Camera club who has been awarded the HonNWPA, being presented by our Charman Linda Bell.
Also a huge congratulations to John Williams for his work keeping Grws camera club boyant as their Treasurer for many a year, being awarded his HonNWPA by the Vice Charman, Jason Wahram.

With a very heavy heart we have to inform you that Abergele camera club is no longer, they have disbanded effective immediately. We are deeply saddened by this, and wish the members all the best in the future, hoping they might find another club to join!

Cefni Camera Club
Some wonderful news, Cefni Camera Club has been brought back to life, after a lot of hard work in the background by previous members, they will be meeting at Canolfan Ebeneser, Bridge Street, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7PN - 19:00-21:00 on the last Wednesday of the month; September thru June inclusive. The first meeting being February 22nd 2023. Welcome back to the fold.
Pixels 2019 Result
Pixels 2019, the 15th running of the competition, took place at Talbot Green Community Centre on Saturday 2 November
and was a very well attended and enjoyable competition.
It was a high scoring affair and a particularly good day for RPC who, with 79 points from a possible 80, won by one point
on the very last picture of the competition. They finished one point ahead of Mold CC on 78 with Gwent PS third on 75
points. Three more clubs finished tied for 4th place, Gwynfa CC, Rhondda CC and Cyrmu Mono.
The Pixels 2019 judge was Michael Krier ARPS AFIAP MA (phot.) who kept the audience entertained with his inciteful
critique and humourous comments . He made the job of judging 156 images look easy and his entertaining approach
meant that time flew.
Michael selected Memories by Sharon Prenton-Jones of ISO as Best Monochrome Photograph and The Plasterer by
John Bell of Mold Camera Club as Best Colour Photograph.
The following are the 10 NWPA clubs' scores for their 4 images and overall positions:
2nd 78 points - Mold
7th= 73 points - Caernarfon
12th= 72 points - Dyffryn Ogwen
12th= 72 points - Rhyl
18th= 71 points - Blaenau Ffestiniog
22nd= 70 points - Conwy
22nd= 70 points - Deeside
26th= 69 points - Dwyfor
26th= 69 points - Ruthin
38th 65 points - Deudraeth
